Joanne Poore

Joanne is a visionary artist currently living and working in Cornwall . Born in the New Forest in Hampshire, Joanne moved to Cornwall with her family when she was 12 years old. She went on to study at Falmouth College of Art, and has since won awards for her paintings.

From an early age Joanne has been aware of the presence of Spirit, and this is a connection that has inspired and sustained her from within. Her creativity expands outwards from this place of inner being.

“If my art were to have a purpose it would be simply to serve as an inspiration. I couldn't ask for more than if, even for a moment, someone lost themselves in the world of a painting. Art can be an open doorway that offers the viewer a break from looking out at the world through the eyes of the mind that constantly limits. Paintings can elevate a person to a place of magic and grace. And this is what I want to share.”
